2012 Chrysler 300 Battery Light Came On

About 5 months ago the battery light on my car started intermittently coming on and off.

2012 chrysler 300 battery light came on.

With the 2 7 six cylinder engine. Changed 1 5 years ago aftermarket. Replaced battery no problem until today 1 1 2 months later while driving home from work battery light came on. 2002 chrysler 300m base.

If the battery warning light stays on or comes on when driving it means there s a fault with the charging system and the battery is not being charged. Replaced battery and alternator on chrysler 200 battery light came on. Replaced 2 months ago napa aftermarket. Problem appeared 3 days ago drove around 3 miles to the store halfway home the check battery light pops on after i got home restarted the car the battery light had cleared monday morning i took it to my regular mechanic local mom pop store he checks battery alternator no obvious problems detected my mechanic said it was getting a charge leave shop battery light pops on on way to work.

Had same issue tonight with my 2011 chrysler limited. In april 2017 car just died while running. There is no pattern that i can see sometimes it comes on after about 5 minutes of running and sometimes it doesn t. Came to this forum to see what other car owners had experienced.

Sounds like it could be the alternator. Between the cost to replace and labor 1200. The chrysler town and country battery warning light comes on initially with the ignition switched on to show the status of the charging system.
